Once you’ve bought the park tickets, picked your Disney resort and let the kids know about your Disney World vacation, it’s time to gear up. That prep can come with sticker shock! Looking at the original price on some Disney merchandise can make the best of us a little faint. However, there is a way to be a Disney fan and a savvy shopper. Plan to visit the Disney warehouse Orlando outlets. With two Disney Character Warehouse locations offering heavily discounted official Disney merchandise, we love to stop in as soon as we step off the plane in Florida.

Do the Disney warehouse outlets in Orlando carry authentic merchandise?

Yes! We don’t blame you for being a bit skeptical. The merchandise carried in these Orlando area Disney outlets isn’t irregular or seconds quality. It is authentic Disney merchandise that has been discounted or discontinued.

There are a few reasons why the Disney warehouse outlets can offer discount pricing. It’s a spot for them to sell off seasonal merchandise for holidays or festivals before the next year’s new items are released. You can pick up EPCOT festival merchandise offerings from Food and Wine, Flower and Garden or Festival of the Arts. We’ve also seen 50th Anniversary celebration merchandise and Halloween and Christmas items.

You’ll also occasionally find items from other properties like Disneyland, Disney Cruise Lines and even overseas Disney theme parks.

SheBuysTravel Tip: Please be aware that other “Disney outlets” may pop up on maps and searches. These one-offs often mix merchandise in from Universal Orlando and other regional spots that may or may not be authentic. Only 2 official Disney’s Character Warehouse locations exist in Orlando, Florida.

The Disney Character Warehouse Locations in Orlando

With two locations in Orlando you can pick which one you go to. We cover more about virtual queues and crowds in the next section.

Disney’s Character Warehouse (Vineland)

8200 Vineland Ave #1252 Orlando, FL

(Ask for drop off or park near Adidas/Banana Republic entrance.)

Take an Uber to Disney’s Character Warehouse at Orlando Premium Outlet Mall if you’re pressed for time. The Orlando Vineland Premium Outlet location is the closest to Disney (right outside the Walt Disney World gates). Not surprisingly, it is also the busiest of the two outlets.

Disney’s Character Warehouse (I-Drive)

4969 International Dr. Orlando, FL

If you’ve got more time and a car, the Orlando International Premium Outlets location is well worth the drive. The main address for the outlets is 4951 International Drive. Since it is located further from the Disney parks, the I-Drive location tends to not get picked over as quickly.

SheBuysTravel Tip: You can now book Disney vacations up to 500 days in advance! That means you can book now for visits into 2026. All it takes is a $200 down payment. The balance isn’t due until 30 days before travel. You can get details on this, as well as help booking, from our partners at Get Away Today. Not only does the company have the lowest prices, but it also offers a best-price guarantee. If you ever find park tickets cheaper, Get Away Today won’t just match the price, the company will beat it.

Which Disney Outlet is Better?

A question that always comes up is which Disney warehouse store in Orlando is the best? There are pluses and minuses to both. The word better is relative because your decision will depend on your schedule. Overall, the location on International Drive tends to have more to choose from. However, if you’re planning to rideshare with Uber or Lyft the Vineland Avenue location is much closer.

How does the virtual queue work for Disney warehouse outlets in Orlando?

Because of its popularity and to control crowds, the location at Vineland sometimes operates on a virtual queue system. You can only join the queue at the location. Talk to a cast member when you arrive. We always recommend going during less crowded times (midday weekdays or weekday evenings). If you plan to go on a weekend, we recommend planning to eat a meal at the outlets while you wait for your text message from the store.

SheBuysTravel Tip: The International Drive location is larger so you can often walk right in. During busier times, however, there still may be a virtual queue.

Disney’s Character Warehouse Finds

The kids and I hit both Disney outlets on one visit. We loaded up on tees from $4 and tons of out-of-season but still perfectly useful items at giveaway prices. We also found MagicBand bling – $13 at the parks – for $1.99. I grabbed a bunch of those for gifts to give to Disney loving friends.

What’s also nice about Disney’s Character Warehouse is that you can find some amazing collectibles and high-end items at hugely discounted prices. Think Dooney & Bourke purses, Vera Bradley and Loungefly, usually at half off retail. On the last visit, I got an amazing Mickey Leather Bomber jacket at a steal.

SheBuysTravel Tip: Don’t forget to look in the display cases and at the shelves behind the counter. They sometimes showcase one-of-a-kind items and sold-out Disney special events merchandise there.

Disney Outlet Orlando Pin Trading Tips

Disney’s Character Warehouse carries pin starter sets of 6 or 8 for $12.95 to $16.95, which is an absolute steal compared to the parks.

If your kids are into pin trading, get ANY cheap ones you can find in the outlets. No worries if your kid starts with 20 “2016 marathon” pins you got for $2 each. Honestly, it’s better because they aren’t attached to the pins so they’re happy to trade them away.

Shopping at Disney Stores Outside of Central Florida

If you’re near a local Disney outlet, it’s definitely worth a look. A Disney writer for SheBuysTravel loves to check for Disney essentials ahead of trips. She has been able to score princess dresses for a fraction of the price.

I always keep an eye on Disney store sales as well. During “Friends and Family” sales, look for free shipping with no minimum and items as low as 99 cents (be sure to sign up for the emails).

Disney Warehouse Outlets Shopping Tips

If you want to get the most impressive Disney outlet haul, keep these tips in mind.

  • Visit the outlets before your WDW park days. You can grab autograph books, pins for pin trading, Disney Mickey and Minnie ears, t-shirts and more. These are items you’ll want to use during your Disney World vacation!
  • Go in with a list. While you can’t be specific about designs you’re looking for it can be easy to walk in, get overwhelmed and draw a blank. If you’ve got a list of Disney fans in your friend and family group that has info on their sizes and favorite characters you’ll be ready to purchase the perfect Disney gifts. When you present Grandma with her Figment limited edition Loungefly bag at her next birthday, you’ll be her favorite. How much you spent will be our little secret!
  • If you see an item that catches your eye, pick it up and put it in your basket–fast! The stock is constantly changing, and we mean constantly. Ebay resellers shop these stores for inventory. If you try to go back to something it may not be there anymore.
  • If you don’t love crowds avoid times near opening. This is a popular time for both tourists and Amazon resellers looking for fresh stock.
  • The are other Disney shopping options. Uniqlo, in Disney Springs, is a Japanese H&M/Old Navy-type clothing store. The Disney Springs store has hundreds of unique Disney tees, most under $15. You’ll even find characters not often seen. Last time I saw Up! and 101 Dalmatians. When was the last time you saw an Up! t-shirt?

  1. if it says its right across the street from Disney Springs how come you can’t walk to it

  2. Character warehouse is they best place to go to find Mickey ears, T-shirt’s, pins . Found Snow White seven dwarfs glass figures years ago.

  3. How do you make reservations for the outlets? I maybe heading down there in Aug but no park time since hubby will be down there for work.

    1. It’s a virtual queue that you can join once you’re onsite at the outlets. When you arrive you go to the store to join the queue and then you can walk around the rest of the outlet area while waiting for your number to be up. Hope this helps!

  4. Is there still a reservation time if you go to any of the warehouses?

  5. I have to tell you that you single handedly ruined my kids day because of this blog post. I thought I’d hit the jackpot after reading this, and refused my kids any merch at the park, and instead drove them to the Disney Character Warehouse after we left Animal Kingdom, only to find out it’s RESERVATION ONLY to get in. Mind you, it was 5:30 and they didn’t close until 7… the refused to add me to the line. I’m sick, my kids hate me, and it’s because of this post. I don’t know if I’m mad at you or mad at the store but it was so misleading all around. Because like you, they didn’t disclose ANYWHERE that a reservation was required either. Love your blog but you need to forewarn folks that’s it’s not as easy as show up and shop. Guess I’m paying airport prices now ?‍♀️

    1. Oh Ashley! We are so sorry to hear about your experience. I have updated the post to reflect the limited capacities and virtual queue.

    2. How do you get on the list? Do you go online or is it in person only?

      1. We have found 2 hours early isnt enough we now wont be able to go either we left 2 hours early to go get in line and the line to get on the que was already wrapped around the mall n we have other plans later so we cant spend all day in line and then waiting to be called back but you MUST be there in person to get in the que so plan on spending the day in line just waiting to get in

  6. Great article! It mentions an outlet in Washington DC and other areas, but I can’t seem to find these. When I clicked on the “local Disney outlet” link it doesn’t even show the Character Warehouses. Are there more Character Warehouses outside of Orlando? There used to be an amazing discount Disney store in Anaheim but it’s been gone for years :(. Would love to know where any others are, and Google is failing me. Thank you!

  7. The article fails to tell you that when you go plan to spend 2-3 hours waiting to get in. We drove over to the further away location and decided not to stay and wait.

  8. Love Disney merchance

  9. Can you give the street address?
    Thank you.

    1. The addresses for both of the outlets are in the story: Disney’s Character Warehouse location is at Orlando Premium Outlet Mall, 8200 Vineland Ave., Suite 1252. The Orlando International Premium Outlets are at 4951 International Drive, Orlando.

  10. They are not fake pins from the Disney outlet just old lines they no longer sell in the parks. This idea really helps if you’ve got lots of children with you that all want to swap pins.

  11. Any way to get discounted magic bands?

  12. Why are people so mad at you! Lol. I thought the info was great, thanks. Everyone gets so uptight… *eyeroll*

  13. Trading fake pins is dishonest. I really object to this article encouraging trading fakes. You recommend that people should “get ANY cheap ones you can find and the cast members on site have to trade them.” Plus, you’re inaccurate by saying cast members have to trade authentic pins away for fakes. They can refuse. If you didn’t mean fakes by saying “ANY,” you need to warn people against purchasing and trading fakes. You’re trying to help people, and that I appreciate, but please consider that your article might add to the ruin of pin trading.

    1. Hi Olivia,
Thanks for your comment. I understand that fake Disney pins are a touchy subject. Considering the article is about Disney outlets, I encourage people to buy pins at the outlets, and that nowhere in the article do I mention either where or how to buy fake pins, I’m not sure I understand your concern.

    2. I have found some pins on Ebay that are obvious fakes of Jessica Rabit but it was so well done and sexy, that I went ahead and bought it because I liked it. Disney would never do a pin of Jessica dressed as Maleficent showing sultry body parts. So my take on it is buy or trade for it if YOU LIKE THE PIN.

    3. They’re not encouraging trading fakes, they clearly state “(They must be official Disney pins, so beware the knock-offs you can find online!)! “

  15. “Right across the street” is not just misleading, it’s wrong. You’ll need a ride to get there from Disney Springs!

    1. Thanks for your comment. Disney World is 40 square miles, so I think that anyone who understands that also understands that people need a car or an uber to get almost anywhere that is not on Disney Transportation.

  16. Do you know by chance if these outlets donate product to charities such as schools for silent auctions?

    1. Good question! I need to make a Disney basket for a silent auction.

  18. Hay
Thanke you very much for let me now what you wrote.i learn from you things that i didnt new. So now i will be prepped better for disney.

    1. Can you use Disney gift cards at the character Warehouse ?

      1. Yes. If you get them on sale you can save even more.

  20. You say it’s just outside Disney gates but Google Maps puts it over 11 miles away. Is there one closer that I am not seeing?

    1. Hi Patty,
Disney is 46 square miles so it depends exactly from where you are searching. The closest one is at the Orlando Vineland Outlet Mall, which is near the Disney Springs entrance.

      1. Thanks. When you say near, can I walk to it?

        1. Walk from Disney Springs.

          1. No, you can’t. It’s at the Premium outlet mall about a 15 min trip. You’ll need to take a Lynx bus or Uber if you don’t have a car. I’m a regular shopper at Character Warehouse. Down here it’s NO secret. I’ve bought the Mickey ear flamingo, tea pot, purses, shirts, and all sorts of misc there. Seasonal things don’t normally appear until after that season. You might find Halloween in Nov and Dec, for instance. I’ve seen some merchandise that is also still for sale in the parks. If you just want 1 tee, it’s not worth it.

  21. I heard that you could also buy yard decorations like for Halloween and Christmas, is this true?
We are going in July and hope to be able to get some of these type items plus souvenirs.

    1. Hi Denise,
Inventory varies widely but I have definitely seen items like flags and other outdoor stuff. Being there in July should get you some great deals on off-season stuff if they still have some left over.
