My family and I have been to tons of restaurants, most with courtyards where my boys can run around before and after eating. Some even have coloring paper and crayons. But it wasn’t until we ate at the Italian Restaurant that is part of the Breakers Resort in Palm Beach that I discovered what a true family friendly restaurant should be like.

The restaurant has an entertainment center area. Yes, multiple rooms filled with toys and other activities! It was paradise.

Dinner Time – Enjoying the Italian Restaurant

Now that the kids were having fun without bothering anyone else it was time for some fun. My parents, who live close to the resort, joined us for dinner. We were all fans of Italian food and the menu had tons of options.

DisclosureTMOMIn the meantime we munched on fresh bread and a rare but pleasant surprise: a fresh fruit platter for kids.

We wanted to try as many dishes as we could so we started with two appetizers.

1. Fried Calamari
2. Pear Gorgonzola Salad – It was absolutely delicious.

For my boys the only option was pizza. They didn’t seem to see anything else in the menu. It was better than any gourmet pizza shop I’ve been too.

My hubby ordered the Garganelli Valdostano pasta dish – It was flavorful and creamy

My dad loved the Shrimp Scampi.

And my mom tried the Chicken Marsala.

Information for Visiting The Italian Restaurant at The Breakers

I would definitely recommend making reservations.

If you are coming with kids ask for the tables closest to the entertainment center. It is on the other side of the entrance.
