Martinique Beach Provincial Park is a treasure of the Eastern Shore in Nova Scotia, and is one of many delightful discoveries I made during a road trip along Marine Drive out of Halifax. There are plenty of places to stop and explore beaches, tidepools, dunes, and forests. The beauty of the coastline drive is complimented by local fishing boats and fresh catch signs on the road – be sure to stop and pick up anything from mussels to lobster to enjoy a real taste of Nova Scotia.
