Are you looking for a family friendly hotel in Orlando that is central to Disney World and Sea World? Buena Vista Suites is conveniently located close to both parks, sleeps up to 6, and provides amenities such as free breakfast and a family friendly pool, all at a reasonable price!

When you travel with kids who go to sleep before you do, it make sense to spend more money on a suite instead of a standard hotel room. The only problem is that suites in Orlando are usually outrageously expensive. Buena Vista Suites is by far the best deal you can get when it comes to suites in that area.

What Works for Families

  • Family suite that sleeps up to 6 people.
  • Mini fridge in room.
  • Free pack and play rental for families with babies.
  • Pool and hot tub open until 11 pm.
  • Reasonable priced restaurant on site.
  • Walking distance to a gas station and drug store for last minute purchases.
  • Friendly staff that accommodates requests with a smile, even late at night.
  • Busses to Disney.

What Doesn’t Work for Families

  • While the pool is nice, it’s not resort level. It’s fine for the kids, but parents shouldn’t expect a luxury spa-like atmosphere. That actually might make it better for families since no one is trying to get too much peace and quiet!
  • The free breakfast tastes like it is free. Stick to the baked goods and stay away from the eggs.

Room cost: Our standard room was about $160 in fall 2016. This includes wifi, breakfast, free parking, and transportation to Walt Disney World. Florida and Georgia residents get a lower rate, and there are specials throughout the year.

The Hotel

If you arrive at Buena Vista Suites at night, you won’t be able to miss it with all the lights on the outside. It’s completely lit up and excites visitors, especially kids! The lobby is comfortable and inviting. It’s big enough for a crowd of kids to rest their feet while the adults check in to the hotel. A small gift shop sells Disney stuff, snacks, drinks, and adult beverages.

The Rooms

This is where Buena Vista Suites excels. They have the best affordable suite options in all of Orlando. Each suite has 2 rooms, one room with either a king bed or two queen beds, and another living room with a comfortable fold out couch, desk, chairs, television and mini fridge. It can very comfortably sleep up to 6 adults.

The beds are comfortable with soft sheets and cushy pillows. Everything about the room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is large enough to accommodate several people getting ready in the morning.

Amenities

This is an extremely comfortable hotel for people who are looking to spend most of their days out and about in Orlando. While the hotel has a heated pool, hot tub, and restaurant, the best things about the hotel are its affordable price and proximity to Walt Disney World and SeaWorld. If you are looking for a resort feel, you can walk next door to their sister hotel, The Caribe Royal, where you can enjoy the resort style pool, 24 hour cafe, and upscale dining.

Dining

Other than the tastes-like-it’s-free breakfast buffet, dining at Buena Vista Suites is great. The Vista Bistro is an Italian eatery that serves lunch and dinner as well as serves food and drinks at the pool through a window. The food is great, fresh, and reasonably priced.

If you are looking for more upscale dining, you can venture next door to the Caribe Royal where there are two restaurants, The Tropicale and The Venetian chop house, both of which allow you to charge your meal to your room at the Buena Vista Suites.
