When you wish upon a star…..you may end up in Disney on vacation. That’s what we here at TravelingMom wish for, over and over, so we’ve become real experts at planning a trip to Walt Disney World. We were just there en masse for our annual TravelingMom retreat, which was hosted by Disney, and we’ll be sharing what’s new and what’s hot at the next #TMOM Twitter party. So join us on Monday, May 15 at 9 p.m. to learn how to make your family’s Disney vacation dreams come true!
May 15 #TMOM Twitter Party – Disney!
There are some sights that are unforgettable. The sunset over the Grand Canyon. The energetic flow of people in Times Square. A glacier rising up in Alaska or a leopard gazing back at you while you’re on an African safari.
But for parents, the sweetest sight may just be the look on your preschooler’s face as she gazes down Main Street and first sees Cinderella Castle.
We at TravelingMom are eclectic in our travels. Some of us do a lot of day trips, while others take month-long global tours. But one thing we agree upon: when it comes to destinations, Disney is one of our favorites. So we are excited to share all our touring plans, money-saving tips and dining recommendations with you at our May 15 #TMOM Twitter Party, when we’re discussing all things Disney World.
Disney World: Where Magic Happens
When it comes to a family vacation, Disney World is as good as it gets. Personally, my family tries to visit a couple of times a year. We come for the old favorites (I have a soft spot for the Carousel of Progress), but Disney innovative new touches keep us coming back (Pandora, anyone?)
But a good Disney trip takes planning. Sure, you may luck out and get into Cinderella’s Royal Table without reservations, but why leave things up to luck? With a little planning, a little foresight – well, a little help from your friends at TravelingMom – you can custom-plan a Disney vacation that meets the particular needs of your family. For example:
Are your little ones looking for adventure 24/7? The fun doesn’t stop at bedtime if you book one of these Caribbean Beach pirate rooms that would even tempt Jack Sparrow to nap.
If you’re into culture, you can introduce your tots to the world without leaving the World Showcase in EPCOT. For example, one of our TMOMS practiced French dining techniques with preschoolers while enjoying a recent meal at Les Chefs de France in EPCOT.
Disney Dining Choices
And speaking of food – Disney offers so many enjoyable meal choices, it may be hard to choose. Need help? We have a guide on how to choose between all the wonderful family-friendly Disney dining experiences, including where to find those favorite characters!
Disney hotels with playgrounds? Of course! If your kids need down time, but still have energy to burn, check out these wonderful play areas for a change of pace from the parks.
But if you don’t want to leave the parks, you can still find “down time.” With some strategice choices, you can actually take a break in the Magic Kingdom – and your kids won’t know the difference.
These are just some of our latest posts, all about Walt Disney World. If you need more ideas, well, that’s what we at Traveling Mom are here for!
