April 24, 2017 #TMOM Twitter Party – Conference Travel

Every year at this time, TravelingMom writers across the country descend on Orlando for our annual retreat. It’s a working vacation – we learn about the company vision, review policies and procedures, and brainstorm about where we’re headed in the future. It’s a business trip – and it’s a total blast.

Of course, business is always better when you’re surrounded by good friends with a single goal – which is the definition of what we have here at TravelingMom. And it doesn’t hurt to have your business conference hosted by Disney, the people who know how to make just about any situation magical.

But even without the bonding moments or the pixie dust, your conference travel can be fun – and even memorable. How? By mixing some down time with the business talk. And we’re happy to explain how that happens. In fact, that’s what we’ll be talking about all hour at the next #TMOM Twitter Party on Monday, April 24 at 9 p.m. ET.

Get Down to Business

Conference travel is stressful by nature. There are the obvious questions – what do I wear? What will the place be like? Did I bring everything I need?

And then, there’s the big question – should I bring my family along?

Of course, the answer to that depends upon the parameters of the conference itself. After all, business is the reason you’re traveling. But either way, we have you covered. While the focus of business travel is just that – business – there are ways to combine business travel with family travel. And if that can’t happen, there are even ways to avoid the mommy guilt that comes with a solo trip .

So join us on at 9 p.m. on Monday, April 24 at the next #TMOM Twitter party. Then add a couple of days to your next business trip – and add some fun to your work travel!
