Cruising Disney style has always been popular with families and folks that want a little piece of the happiest place on earth on a luxury cruise line. I mean, any chance for my family to experience anything Disney-themed or even inspired and we’re on board.
The company’s recent announcements that the cruise line will be returning to New York City, sailing to both the Bahamas and Canada, and extending Disney cruise times to seven days in already popular locations have blown up its website and caused a stir with folks wanting to be one of the first to sail.
With bookings for the new itineraries beginning May 20, 2015, here’s the scoop on what you need to know about the new Disney Cruise itineraries.
- Sail from New York City to the Bahamas. Itinerary includes a stop at Walt Disney World (including Park Hopper ticket) and transportation to and from the park. This cruise will also include a visit to Castaway Cay- Disney’s private island.
- A five night trip from New York City to Canada with stops in Halifax, NS, and Saint John, NB.
In addition to shorter cruising options, the cruise line is offering seven night itineraries from Miami. The destinations included are the Eastern and Western Caribbean. This Disney cruise option also includes a stop at Castaway Cay.
Cruises will now depart from Galveston, TX and sail to the Bahamas or Western Caribbean. For a fast cruise, four night Cozumel itineraries have been added.
