Usually family passes to the Canadian National Parks cost more than $100 a year, but this year they are free. Here’s how to make sure you get yours.

Getting your 2017 Park Pass is easy. Click on this link to Parks Canada which will take you directly to the 2017 Park Pass. You only need one pass per family if you all are traveling together in one vehicle. Enter your information and check out.

The website will not ask for any form of payment and you will be on your way to a free year of park access throughout Canada.  Be patient. There are a lot of people around the world applying for the passes, which is slowing down (sometimes even shutting down) the website. But never fear! Parks Canada says the free pass is unlimited and will be available to order from now until the end of 2017. The pass covers admission to all parks but camping fees are extra.
