I practice yoga because it helps me feel so good physically, mentally and spiritually.
Yoga has really helped me to focus my breathing. By paying attention to my breath, I gain awareness, and as a result, reduce those moments of feeling overwhelmed. Like most traveling moms, I find myself multitasking and squeezing too much into a busy day, but somehow managing to get it all done or most of it, anyway.
Every once in a while I need to come up for air, take a breath, and get centered before plunging back into the multitasking frenzy. When I do yoga, I learn to focus on my breath as I move into each posture. This helps me to slow down and manage any anxiety.
