senses2I was lucky enough to have a chance to check out Senses – the luxurious spa located on the Disney Fantasty Cruise Ship) during its inaugural launch. I immediately ran to the front desk and booked a facial. Luckily, they were able to squeeze me in. I mean… I am SPA TRAVELING MOMafter all! It was my duty to check out all that Senses had to offer.

I can honestly say, that Senses is an oasis within an oasis. Not only is there a long list of available services (like facials, massages, manicures and pedicures) but there are unique add-ons like acupuncture, teeth whitening and shellac). A dream come true!

Don’t have the funds to book an hour long service? No problem. For $16, you can take advantage of a special area of the spa which includes several intense showers, a Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and these perfectly shaped lounge chairs that offer an outstanding view of the ocean. No loud kids in here, folks. It’s just sheer bliss.

Senses1If you are looking for a scrub, you can make your own or allow the Senses team to create one perfectly formulated to match your skin’s needs.

Whenever I book a facial, I always opt for the standard version and make sure to listen to whatever my aesthetician suggests. I added on a collagen mask and when I tell you that my skin looked rejuvenated when she was finished with me, I’m not kidding!

When she handed me the mirror, I almost couldn’t believe my eyes. I suffer from rosacea and after leaving the Senses spa, my skin never looked better.

Have you ever visited a spa while cruising?
