The Russian Tea Room, one of New York City’s most renowned dining establishments, announced that it will be offering patrons a 10% discount off of the ticket price of Stravinsky’s Firebird, a children’s concert that’s a Russian masterpiece being held at Lincoln Center on Saturday, November 6th, 2010. The colorful production, which includes puppetry and a live orchestra, is presented by the Little Orchestra Society and will have two showings at 11 am and 1 pm in Avery Fisher Hall.
Concert-goers are invited to the Russian Tea Room after the show to enjoy the Children’s Tea, served from 12 PM to 4:30 PM. The two course tea, which includes classic tea sandwiches and delicacies as well as child-friendly fare such as tiny pigs in a blanket, is $25 for children under 12 (adult afternoon tea is $50).
