I’m not sure describing Hutchinson Island as off the beaten track, but it does have the most beautiful Florida beaches I’ve ever visited. I’d always been to Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Miami, and Ft. Lauderdale, but when my husband mentioned a vaction to Eastern Coast of Florida, I was never going back.
If you love getting away from noise and clutter, you will never want to leave Hutchinson Island, Florida. We had the opportunity to visit my in-laws for few days and we stayed at the Hutchinson Island Marriot and Resort. We stayed in a ocean view deluxe suite with a kitchenette equipped with full kitchen and eating area-two burners and a microwave. The granite counters and stainless steel sink are in very good condition and cleans up nicely.
Since we keep kosher, we were able to cook our own food whenever we wanted. My in-laws bought us empire kosher chicken breasts and corn beef from the local BJ’s. We were also able to get a lot of basics (eggs, milk, fruit, veggies, juices, bread at the local Publix as well. My in-laws bought us a Toaster Oven and we cooked up a storm. We also brought our crock pot so we could make a cholent on Shabbos (beef, barley, onions, potatoes, tomato sauce that keeps on cookin’). We were all set for our meals.
With three little kids, four and under, you never want to run out of nosh.
The land around the Hutchinson Island Marriot Resort is absolutely beautiful. Families can take advantage of a variety of activities, such as biking, boating, golf or tennis. Our kids were perfectly content playing with the sand on the beach and collecting sea shells. They also spent a lot of time at the pool, which meant we spent a lot of time at the pool. Our almost two year old couldn’t get enough of being in the water with his Abba.
