We don’t always get to travel as much as we want, do we? Sometimes travel can be stressful too (but so worth it!). You can come home feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation. For me, watching a great show can be like a mini vacation. This fall, Pan Am is that show.
Another time, another place… This show, with it’s painstaking eye for detail and lavish, beautiful production value, really has the power to transport.
For me, Pan Am has always had a special place in my heart. It was the first airline I ever flew on. I remember my father’s iconic camera bag (he was a frequent flyer on the airline, during the era of the show) and I have nothing but good memories.
I wish that airlines still served filet mignon and lobster and handed out bottles of Dom inflight. I’d love to re-visit a world where plane seats were capacious and inflight entertainment was more than a pair of headphones available for purchase.
I can’t really go there, but at least on Sundays I can go there for a hr.
If you haven’t already tuned in, check the kiddos in for the night and check out Pan Am on ABC Sunday nights this fall. You can also watch Pan Am episodes and additional show programming and interviews online for free. No baggage fee and no unexpected delays. Enjoy!
