Disney celebrates the traditions from various cultures, such as Day of the dead a Mexican tradition that remembers our deceased loved ones. The Day of the dead or Dia de Muertos celebration is not a Mexican Halloween or a sad day, is a festive day filled with vibrant colors, food and music.
In this vlog I give you a taste of how Disney celebrates Dia de Muertos at El Zocalo and why everyone should enjoy this celebration at the Happiest Place on Earth, during Halloween time. Besides learning about what Day of the Dead is, kids can enjoy face painting, and the whole family can sample delicious traditional Mexican dishes, such as tamales and pan de dulce.
Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post, as a member of the media I was invited to the Halloween Time media event.
