I recently saw this on a magazine cover and I couldn’t help wondering if an adventure trip would facilitate the change I want in my life.  We all know or at least have heard that times are tough.  With a wobbly economy and an unpredictable political future, planning anything that involves money is a challenge. Many people  would welcome a positive change in their lives, especially now.  But marketing adventure travel as the means to that change just sounded WRONG.  The cost for one thing.  And the idea that you need to leave your current situation to solve it also seems so 2006.  Why not be in it?  Figure it out?  Take a day trip or state-cation that will still remove you from your day to day but not slurp up your savings?I did not buy that magazine.
