Part of the fun of traveling is being able to ask questions! Asking indulges one’s curiosity, and gives fresh wind to wanting to go places. TravelingMoms not only share about the travel adventures we’ve had, but we enjoy answering our readers’ queries about those places and more. Here’s a little bit more about our Ask a TravelingMom section!

Sometimes you just need a good place to start – a place where you can get all your information in one spot. The TravelingMom Network is 70+ traveling moms and grandmothers from all across the United States, Canada, Central America and Europe. We have been to a lot of places around the globe, and we love, love. LOVE sharing our experiences.
Travel destination ideas
Where is it you would like to visit? Are you a National Parks enthusiast? Read about a view that is not to be missed in the Grand Canyon National Park. Are you a student of history? Enjoy reading here about the rich history and culture of Salamanca, Spain. Does your family like to have fun together? We offer many travel perspectives on visiting Walt Disney World with a family, a group, a couple, or solo!
What about the places you haven’t yet visited? Our moms have been to unconventional places that are some of the most beautiful this planet has to offer. Here is where you can take a visit to the Middle Tennessee Museum of Natural History, or to the lush shores of Oahu and Hawaiian culture. If the beauty of Vietnam is on your list of things to see, you can get a taste of that here as well. Browsing our site will help give you a view of a destination that you want to visit in the future.
Where to stay when you get there
Unless we have family in every place that we want to visit, hotels are the order of the day for our travels. But how do you know which ones work well for the solo traveler? Or for a family of 6? Our moms not only share about the cities and countries they’ve visited, but about their accommodations as well. You definitely get an inside view, both in photos and experiences. We love to share what works (and what doesn’t) so that you are well prepared for your stay. Here are a few recent hotel reviews, TravelingMom-style:

Travel tips and tricks
Your traveling crew makes all the difference in how you experience any place. Traveling with toddlers is distinctively different that traveling with teens. And traveling as a couple is different than traveling with more mature adults and their needs. We have moms that share from their experiences across the spectrum.
And who doesn’t love a great deal? Traveling is an investment of resources, whether it’s for a day trip or 10 days. We want to help you get the most bang for your buck as you make that investment in yourself and in your families. While you can’t put a price on memories that are made, we can help to make the most of what you are planning to spend!
TravelingMom now offers our newly-minted Deals page for booking your travel. We have connected with our partner travel company to offer amazing discounts for you our readers. From within our site, you can search for cruises, flights, hotels and more. We are happy to give you access to these deals, right at your fingertips.
What’s on your mind?
So now it’s your turn. We want to hear your travel questions about destinations, accommodations, deals, helpful hints and more. Our hope is to be a one-stop shop for all of your travel needs, and we’d love to hear from you.
It’s easy to ask us what is on your mind: Just head on over to our Ask a TMOM page to submit your question. We will do our best to get a personal reply to you in a timely manner. And your question may even become part of a full “Ask a TravelingMom” article that we do here on TravelingMom.com, so keep an eye out here for updates.
What would you and your friends like to know from our family travel experts? We hope to hear from you soon!
