The holiday season at Disneyland is a favorite time for many people; seeing the parks transform for Halloween and the fall season allows us all to welcome in the new season.  Purchasing a ticket for Mickey’s Halloween Party allows you to enjoy the season even more; these Disneyland travel tips will help you make the most of Mickey’s Halloween Party!

Buy your Tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party in Advance: Buying your tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party in advance means you get to attend on the evening you want and you save money on each ticket purchased ahead of time versus being purchased at the park. Who doesn’t like to save money when traveling?

Plan out the Special Activities:  Mickey’s Halloween Party is a special time of year and that means you get access to special activities that you cannot enjoy any other time.  These twelve things to do at Mickey’s Halloween Party should help you plan out  your list of must do’s.

Plan your dining: Some restaurants close down early for Mickey’s Halloween Party so be sure you plan on getting your meal in somewhere you like that is open during the party.  Check with a Cast Member if you have any questions.

Go to the Front of the Line: Mickey’s Halloween Party is a special event that requires its own ticket, which means shorter lines for rides!  But the lines get even shorter when parades and special events are happening.  If there is an event you are less interested in, use this time to get to the front of the line!

Visit Anna and Elsa’s Boutique:  Anna and Elsa’s Boutique opens October 6th in Downtown Disney.  I have a sneak peek and the full scoop for you but if your girl is dressing up as Elsa or Anna, be sure you stop and get their make up and hair done before you go to Mickey’s Halloween Party.

Space out your Treats: I love sugar.  And I bet your kids do as well!  The Halloween treats at Disneyland are seriously some of my favorite!  There are so many fabulous treats to enjoy during the holidays at Disneyland so space them out so you can enjoy more.  Get some special treats to go for loved ones that may not have come with you.

The Pumpkin Twist at Maurice’s Treats is a must have as is the Candy Corn Cotton Candy which you can find at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree!
