Walt Disney World includes four theme parks, two water parks, over twenty-five resorts, a shopping area, and over forty square miles. Do you know where in Disney World to find your favorite Frozen characters? Here are nine places where you can find Anna and Elsa at Disney World along with your other Frozen favorites – Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven.
9 Places to find Anna and Elsa at Disney World
My daughter was a Cinderella obsessed preschooler. She squealed with delight each time we found Cinderella references on our Walt Disney World vacations.
Today’s young Disney Princess fans can’t get enough of the Frozen sisters, Anna and Elsa. If your child just can’t Let it Go when it comes to Frozen, here are nine places to find Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven at Disney World.
1. Anna and Elsa Meet and Greet in Epcot
The only place in Walt Disney World to meet Anna and Elsa in person is at their Royal Sommerhus in Epcot’s Norway pavilion. Keep an eye out for hidden references to Frozen among the family memorabilia in the cabin.
Traveling Mom Tip: Ask Anna if Kristoff has proposed, and ask Elsa about what her favorite ice creation is.
2. Frozen Ever After Attraction in Epcot
Also in Epcot’s Norway pavilion is the Frozen Ever After attraction. During a “Summer Snow Day,” a boat takes you to Troll Valley, Elsa’s Ice Castle, and back to the Bay of Arrendelle. Along the way, you will see Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven.
TravelingMom Tip: Frozen Ever After is the most popular ride at Disney World. To avoid long lines, make a FastPass+ reservation in advance. Or plan an early breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. You will be in the perfect location to get in line for Frozen Ever After when the park opens.
3. Festival of Fantasy Parade in Magic Kingdom
Anna and Elsa appear in the garden of Disney princesses during the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom. The parade starts in Frontierland and turns right in Liberty Square before looping around the Central Plaza. It then continues down Main Street to the Town Square. It begins at 3:00 p.m. on most days, but check the Magic Kingdom Times Guide to verify the exact times during your visit.
TravelingMom Tip: Get VIP parade seating when you reserve a Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant.
4. Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire in Magic Kingdom
Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire is a live stage show performed on the castle stage. Mickey and his crew gather their Disney friends from far and wide to celebrate. Mickey himself invites Anna, Elsa, and Olaf from the Land of the Mystic Mountains. Check the Magic Kingdom Times Guides for performance times.
TravelingMom Tip: Please don’t put small children on your shoulders to view the show. It blocks the view of people behind you.
5. Once Upon a Time show in Magic Kingdom
The Once Upon a Time show is projected directly onto Cinderella Castle. Mrs. Potts tells her son Chip a bedtime story of their favorite fairy tales including Frozen. The show runs on most nights, but the time varies according to park closing. Check the Magic Kingdom Times Guide for the time during your trip.
TravelingMom Tip: One of the best viewing spots is outside of Casey’s Corner at the end of Main Street. The hot dogs are also the best in Disney World.
6. Sing Along with Anna and Elsa in Hollywood Studios
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration features Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff. Two funny Arrendelle historians retell the story of Frozen while clips of the movie show on a large screen. The audience is invited to sing along to their favorite songs like “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” and “Let it Go.” The show is presented several times daily at Disney Hollywood Studios.
TravelingMom Tip: Schedule a FastPass+ for the best seats.
7. Olaf Meet and Greet in Hollywood Studios
Meet Olaf in person at Celebrity Spotlight in Disney Hollywood Studios. Olaf appears on the sand with a beach umbrella and chair as the backdrop. But don’t worry! He is indoors and won’t melt. Neither will you.
TravelingMom Tip: Ask Olaf if you are worth melting for. And of course, make sure he gives you a warm hug.
8. Olaf PhotoPass Magic Shots in the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios
PhotoPass photographers throughout the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios have the ability to take pictures with an Olaf Magic Shot. Here is how it works. Find a PhotoPass photographer and ask if they do Olaf Magic Shots. If they do, they will place you in a pose that leaves a place for Olaf to appear when you view your picture online.
TravelingMom Tip: Both still and animated Olaf Magic Shots are available. Make sure to ask the PhotoPass photographer for both. Keep asking photographers until you find one that can do the shot.
9. Sven PhotoPass Magic Shots in Animal Kingdom
If you are lucky, you might be able to get an animated Magic Shot photo with Sven. He is a rare Magic Shot, but he may appear at the bridge near Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
TravelingMom Tip: PhotoPass photographers only appear periodically on the bridge near Everest. If you see one, take a picture right away rather than returning later.
