The Doubletree Disney Springs is located within Walt Disney World. That’s right – it is on Disney property! Offering one and two bedroom suites, outdoor pool, theme park shuttle and more, this family friendly hotel is perfect for your next Disney vacation. Offering the largest suites on Disney property, this hotel is ideal for families of five or more. Enjoy the space to spread, all the while experiencing the magic of Disney.
Last week our family stayed at the Doubletree Disney Springs, and I can say I was pleasantly surprised. With a teen in the house now, I am always looking for options that give her a little privacy at the end of the day. It doesn’t have to be her own room, just a space where she doesn’t have to share a bed with her little sister. This often poses a problem when it comes to budget because suites can be really expensive, especially in Disney.
We found the Doubletree at Disney Springs to be the answer to our dilemma. At the end of the night, we pulled the doors shut and our teen had her own queen size sofa bed and television.
The Doubletree Disney Springs has families in mind as the price during peak summer season is less than $200/night. This is less than a room with two double beds in the value category at Disney. It may be worthwhile to forgo the Magical Express and Extra Magic Hours to stay at the Doubletree and have more space to relax at the end of your Disney days.
Doubletree Disney Springs
The Doubletree Disney Springs is the only all-suite hotel in Disney Springs. When you arrive, you are greeted at the front desk with warm cookies and a smile. That is the Doubletree difference. We checked in at 11:30 a.m. and our room was ready. This may not always be the case, but you can check-in and then be alerted when your room is ready. Feel free to enjoy the outdoor pool or head to the theme parks.
We were in a one bedroom suite, and it was large enough for the five of us with tons of room to spare. This 540 sq. ft. suite features a living room with a queen-sized sofa bed, dining area for four, and private bedroom with two queen-sized beds. In addition, enjoy amenities including WiFi, 24-hour refreshment center access, in-room Keurig coffeemaker, microwave, mini-refrigerator, 2 LCD HDTVs, and in-room safe. This room will accommodate up to six guests. If you need something larger, book the two bedroom suite that will sleep up to eight.
TravelingMom Tip: Just across the traffic light from the Doubletree is a grocery store. Utilize the microwave and mini-fridge for breakfast and even lunch items to save money.
When you aren’t relaxing in your suite, you can enjoy the large outdoor space that includes a pool, hot tub, kids splash pad and playground. We spent the entire afternoon poolside, and enjoyed adult beverages from the tiki bar while the kids played. I loved that the pool was open until 11 p.m. giving the kids time to play even after a day in the theme parks. The hot tub was certainly calling my tired feet.
Dining at Doubletree Disney Springs
The Evergreen Cafe just off the lobby is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We enjoyed a full breakfast buffet during our stay and it was delicious. Offering fresh fruit, cereal, hot bar items, made-to-order omelettes and Mickey Waffles, the buffet truly satisfied our hunger. You may also order room service from the menu to be delivered to your suite. When the pool side bar is open, you can order off the menu as well and have it delivered to the pool.
You will also find a grab and go shop in the lobby offering soda, snacks, beer and wine. This store is open 24 hours, so no matter what time you arrive at the hotel, you can grab a drink or snack.

Doubletree Disney Springs Overview
The Doubletree at Disney Springs was a home-run for our group. While we were only visiting for one night, I could easily spend a longer vacation here. The property isn’t too large so the pool and public areas never felt crowded even with the hotel at capacity. The suite was spacious and modern. It offered comfortable beds and large open space to relax without feeling we were on top of one another.
When staying at this Official Walt Disney World hotel you can enjoy exclusive benefits including:
- Purchasing Disney tickets online
- Advanced tee times at Disney golf courses
- Discounts at four nearby PGA championship golf courses
- Disney Merchandise store
There is ample parking available onsite at the hotel; the cost is $20.00 per night to self park or $26.00 for valet. We did self park and it was seamless to get in and out of the lot. The self parking lot is also right outside the front door of the hotel, so no garages to deal with.
You can walk to Disney Springs and enjoy nightly entertainment, shopping and dining. It was REALLY hot during our visit so we opted to drive. It literally took 3 minutes from the park lot of the Doubletree to the parking garage at Disney Springs. The hotel also has a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes beginning at 6 p.m. each night.
Try the Doubletree Disney Springs hotel on your next Orlando vacation, and enjoy the suite life.
