A trip to Disney isn’t complete without visiting Disney’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Especially if you have girls. What little princess doesn’t want to have cast members doting on her and making her pretty? My girls ate it up. When we look back at our favorite vacation memories, visiting Disney’s Bibbidi bobbidi Boutique is at the top of the list.
The boutique looks like a Disney salon. There are chairs in front of mirrors where my girls could look at their reflections while they got made over. They were able to choose from three hairstyles. Fairytale Princess, Disney Diva and Pop Princess. My oldest chose fairytale princess because she wanted the tiara. My youngest chose the Disney Diva.
They got to pick barrettes for their hair and the makeup colors. The makeup and fake nails were one of their favorite things. They felt so grown up.
If you want to save money, you don’t have to purchase the Disney princess dresses from the boutique. You can bring yours from home and use them with this service, or you can do the hair and makeup without the dress.
We got to visit the Bibbidi Bobbidi boutique for free as part of the year of a million dreams. Do you remember this a few years ago? Disney was granting dreams for their guests. We were walking under the castle and a castmember stopped us and asked if our girls wanted to have a dream granted and visit the boutique. Of course we said yes. The free surprise dream made this visit even more special for us. That was a fun year to visit Disney.
We didn’t get the dresses as part of our dream visit but our girls didn’t miss them at all. They still felt incredibly special and had a wonderful visit. If you are looking for a budget friendly option, consider skipping the dresses. It’s still a great thing to add to your Disney vacation. For us, it’s a memory we love to look back on.
