Walt Disney World is continuing the tradition of offering discounted tickets to U.S. military personnel as there way of saluting them.
Disney World Military Discounts
The Disney World military discounts are available to eligible Service Members includes active or retired members, the National Guard, Reservists and the U.S. Coast Guard or their spouses.
The current promotion began September 29, 2013 and continues until September 27, 2014. For $169 military personnel can purchase up to six 4 day park hoppers per year.
For only $29 more you can add the Water Park Fun & More option. I highly recommend you add this option if you are going in the hot months. When we purchased our tickets in the past we were not able to add the water park option until we were activating the tickets at the Disney ticket window. Also, adding that option extended our days at Disney, because we went did a whole day at each of the water parks.
These tickets have to be purchased at an ITT office. There are two ITT offices in Orlando, one inside the Shades of Green and one near the airport. Once purchased you have to go to a ticket window at one of the Disney World Parks to activate them. You will be required to show military id at this time.
Certain black out days do apply in peak times December 20 to December 31, 2013, April 13 to April 20, 2014 and July 4, 2014: Not valid at Magic Kingdom park.
