Most of us bring along a laptop, tablet and smartphones when we travel. But looking for outlets in your hotel room for all of these electronics can be a challenge. Most of the time, there are either not enough or they are hidden behind the beds or the largest dresser in the room. Philips Ultra Slim Multiple Outlet can solve that problem.ProductReview

Philips, well known for TVs, has branched out to sell household products such as coffee makers, personal care items such as electric toothbrushes and baby items such as bottles. Along with tablets and computer monitors, Philips has a number of multiple outlets that are ideal for travel. The Ultra Slim Multiple Outlet has two outlets and two USB chargers. It is slim, only 0.64 inches and has a hidden swivel plug.

When we travel, we go to relax, sightsee or visit family. So why do we schlep along two laptops, an iPad, a Kindle and two handheld video game consoles? I still haven’t figured that out, but they all need to be charged. And don’t forget three smartphones. With the Philips Multiple Outlet we have four electronics covered.

In our hotel room, I just plugged it in and was the hero of my family. No more searching for a ringing phone, or wondering if the laptop is charged. It was a hit, but I could not find this exact product online. It is not on the Philips site or any other sales sites. There were similar items, but none with both outlets and USB chargers together. There were no more slim outlets either. What’s up with that Philips? You have a good thing here.

You can find multiple outlets from Philips, though. I found a pack of three for only $6.99. Honestly, before I was spoiled by this specific travel outlet, I have used similar products. You may want to look for one that is a surge protector as well. Check the Philips website for more information.
