Located on the south coast of St. Lucia, the Coconut Bay Beach Resort offers both an adults-only side and a family-friendly side. For families looking for value-packed all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, Coconut Bay needs to be on the list.

To be a guest on the family side means access to a mile-long beach, five pools, tennis and basketball courts, a fitness center, full-service salon and oceanfront spa. The kids will easily spend all day splashing around the island’s largest waterpark, Cocoland. The park comes complete with a lazy river, waterslides, kid’s club, and the island’s only resort animal sanctuary and paintball course.

There are also countless activities for the whole family, including kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, kitesurfing and snorkeling. You can also get competitive with a game of pool volleyball or water polo. The foam party at the Splash plunge pool is something you absolutely won’t want to miss! Dry activities include beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, bocce ball, horseshoes, soccer, cricket, and a variety of fitness and dance classes. There’s also family-friendly activities such as family tie-dye, bingo, dominos and darts.

When you’re ready to refuel, you can choose between nine restaurants and seven bars offering unlimited a la carte and buffet options.

For some family-time off of the resort, you can book both full- and half-day tours to explore the island via sailboat, Jeep, catamaran or helicopter. There are also a variety of guided excursions and activities including zip-lining, horseback riding, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and volcano tours (and that’s just to name a few)!

I know the words “XBox Lounge” is all my son will need to hear to pass the time outside of the water!
