Jurustic Park

Free in Wisconsin Marshfield is located in Wood County in central Wisconsin. The town offers small city charm with Midwestern hospitality and several free family activities. 1. Jurustic Park Explore recreations of extinct animals, many made from steel. The sculptures were made by amateur paleontologist Clyde Wynia, who runs the park with his wife, Nancy.

2. Gallery 450

Located in the Helen Laird Fine Arts Building on the campus of UW-Marshfield/Wood County. The gallery is a showcase for Wisconsin artists and contemporary art.


3. New Visions Gallery

Located in the Marshfield Clinic, the gallery features chaining exhibitions including traveling exhibits and local and regional artwork.

4. Stierle Bird Exhibit

Located inside the Marshfield Public Library.  The Stierle Bird Exhibit consists of about 400 birds representing 140 species, plus a collection of approximately 2,000 bird eggs.

5. Lest We Forget Military Museum

Part of the Thomas House Center for History, the museum offers chaining exhibitions on different historical topics.

6. World’s Largest Round Barn

On the grounds of the Marshfield Fairgrounds, and used to display purebred animals during the shows.
