Free ice skating was only the tip of the iceberg at Citi Pond Bryant Park this year. So far, a Malaysian food festival, a crafts festival and The “Citi Snow Globe” where families could enter a life-size snow globe were just some of the activities. On Monday nights, there were free movies on an outdoor screen.
On March 2 and 3, The Kids Food Festival offers free food demos and samples, a scavenger hunt and live entertainment.
The food festival, in conjunction with Cooking Light, features NYC chefs and seeks to educate families about making healthy eating choices.
And what better venue than an ice skating rink, where families can exercise and have fun together, for free.
Skating ends March 3, so hurry over to midtown and take a spin.
