Fine dining in Winter Park, Colorado just got taken up a notch. Da Vinci Restaurant in downtown Winter Park’s Cooper Creek Square is Modern European Cuisine with French, Italian and Greek Mediterranean influences, served in a casual dining atmosphere. Pasta is made from scratch and seafood flown in fresh to Owner/Chef, Leonid Shukan and Executive Chef, Brandon Park’s kitchen where each plate is served with artistic flair. Food so beautiful, I dare you not to Instagram it.

ProductReviewRecently opened, Da Vinci is located on the third floor of Cooper Creek Square and has great views of the downtown area in an upscale yet cozy atmosphere.

The first thing we always look for in any restaurant, fine dining or not, is a kid’s menu. I’m happy to report, that Da Vinci did not disappoint. The kid’s offerings may be limited, but they should fit just about any child’s taste. They have their choice of pizzatta, meatball with spaghetti or penne pasta aglio olio or alfredo. All three are easily customizable. Our six-year-old, Reagan prefers her noodles with butter only, and they were more than happy to accommodate.

DaVinci Restaurant Winter ParkI wanted to give the homemade pasta a try myself, and when I read Butternut Squash Ravioli, I was sold. I love a seasonal menu, and Da Vinci’s menu does change to serve diners only the freshest ingredients. My butternut squash ravioli was heaven, only to be topped by the Tira Misu; my favorite dessert. My dinner partners also indulged in pasta: Gnocci with wild mushrooms and roasted asparagus and Tagliatelle Gamberettie with shrimp, saffron, zucchini and cream.

Besides great food, Da Vinci has a great location right in the middle of downtown in the fashionable outdoor mall setting of Cooper Square. After dinner, we enjoyed live music by national recording artists in the courtyard for Music on the Mall Fridays while Reagan played on the jungle gym nearby. Music on the Mall happens all summer long with other family-friendly events scheduled throughout the year including Holidays.

Next time we visit, we plan to hit up Da Vinci’s amazing happy hour: every day from 4pm – 7pm and a late night happy hour from 10pm – midnight. The happy hour menu offers a variety of petite offerings as well as beer, wine, wells and specialty cocktails and martinis at terrific prices.
