1. Cerveza Pacifico Clara (Mexico)
Known to the locals of Mazatlan as simply Pacifico, this Mexican pilsner-style beer is meant to be light and refreshing when battling the hot Mexico temperatures.

2. Red Stripe Jamaican Lager (Jamaica)
Red Stripe is an ideal beverage to accompany your charred meat and Jamaican Jerk dishes. Here, Luxe Traveling Mom Dana Zucker enjoyed her Red Stripe with a cheese and cracker platter along with a beautiful view.

4.Guinness Draught (Ireland)
The Guinness of Dublin is unlike what we enjoy in the States; even if you are not a fan of Guinness, I encourage you to give it a try and see if it tastes different to you. Plus, you can have some fun pouring your own beer like I did.

5.Leo (Thailand)
After an 18-hour flight to Thailand I arrived wanting three things: a shower, a good meal and a cold beer. I achieved two out of three at a local restaurant where I dined on fresh, cooked fish and the delicious taste of Leo Beer.

6. Barena Cerveza (Honduras)
Barena Cerveza is the official beer of the mainland. It’s light and refreshing with a mild well-balanced body. My friend Angela shared this picture from a recent trip to Honduras, complete with a gorgeous view and sunny skies.

7. Balashi (Aruba)
Since honeymooning in Aruba in 2001, I have loved Aruba’s only local beer, Balashi. If you find yourself in Aruba and want an insider look into Balashi, consider taking a tour of the brewery where you can experience the beer’s production firsthand. The Balashi Beer Tour runs from Monday through Friday and costs about $6 (US dollars) and includes one drink (kids under 12 free).

8.Belikin (Belize)
Belikin is the leading beer brand of Belize and includes about 9 varieties of beer. Fellow beer-drinking TravelingMom Dana shared a picture of her Belikins complete with a view of the rainforests at Belcampo Belize.

9. Carib (St. Maarten)
Carib is technically the official beer of Trinidad and Tabago, but it is the second most popular beer in St. Maarten. During my 7 day/6 night Caribbean cruise we stopped in St. Maarten for part of the day. On a water taxi ride in St. Maarten I asked the driver for a bottle of their most local beer and he handed me a Carib. It is the oldest of the Caribbean beers.

10. Magna (Puerto Rico)
Puerto Rico has two local beers, Medalla and the brand new Magna. Magna hit the beer scenes of Puerto Rico in 2011.
