BlueFernSpaSpa, anyone? Most busy moms don’t have to be asked twice for the opportunity to indulge in some personal pampering. I was thrilled when the good folks at Spa Week invited me to preview some of their specials at the Bluefern Spa & Salon – a lovely boutique spa nestled outside the Atlanta Metro area in Suwanee, Ga. My training and travel schedule is ramping up as I move into the fall running season so I welcomed the opportunity to enjoy a good massage.

Spa Week is a bi-annual event offering luxurious full-service spa treatments at some of the finest spas across North America for just $50 each. It takes place October 15-21, 2012.

BlueFernMe1My experience at the Bluefern Spa & Salon was wonderful. Personal attention from their top-notch staff really made my visit exceptional. I started with a Pomegranate facial then enjoyed an hour long aromatherapy massage. The atmosphere was charming, intimate and relaxing. They have five treatment rooms, a three chair salon, and offer a wide array of services with competitive prices. Alma, the Medical Esthetician who did my facial and Deanna the massage therapist were attentive and clearly knowledgeable about their craft. They both wanted to make sure they delivered an experience that would fit my needs; and I’m happy to say they did.
