Have your kids always wanted to visit the Nick Hotel in Orlando, Florida? If getting doused with a bucket of slime is on your kids’ travel bucket list, find out why you need to book and stay before May 31, 2016.
For the past 10 years, the Nick Hotel has been a staple in Orlando, Florida. Families have flocked to the hotel to have breakfast with Dora and pizza dinner with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles while enjoying 2 incredible water parks. In the past few years, the hotel has been showing some wear and tear and recently a $30 million renovation began to update the property.
The property has also begun a transition that will transform the Nick Hotel into the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites, a completely updated property. What this also means is that all Nickelodeon experiences will cease May 31st, 2016. The renovations will include new furniture, fixtures and equipment with fresh coats of paint on every building. The Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites will include newly renovated suites, a laser maze, a 4-D theatre and live entertainment in both the studios spaces and poolside.
Between now and the launch of the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites guests staying at the property will see some major changes. The elimination of hotel staple Sponge Bob and his Nickelodeon pals is set to take place a few weeks later on May 31, 2016. If you want one last chance to get slimed by the pool, play the Nickelodeon games at night or simply say goodbye to your Nickelodeon favourites, make sure to book now and stay before May 31, 2016.
I for one will miss the Nickelodeon Experiences at the hotel but am excited to check out the new renovations. If you need a Nick fix after May 31, 2016, don’t forget that the Nickelodeon Resort in Punta Cana will be opening May 15, 2016. Make sure to check out the current promotions to save up to 45% off for stays between May 15, 2016 and December 18, 2016.
