There are so many hotels to choose from when you are staying in NYC that it can become overwhelming trying to pick the right one. If you are looking for a spacious room, large enough for a family in Times Square consider staying at the Millennium. With larger rooms than most NYC hotels families will be more comfortable. Read on to see if this is the right NYC hotel for your family.
The Millennium Broadway New York in New York City is in a fantastic location right next to Times Square behind the Toys R Us. Staying here will put you right in the middle of the action in Times Square, plus it is close to Broadway theaters and Fifth Avenue shopping.
The Millennium Broadway New York has larger rooms which is great for families and not the norm in NYC. They also offer a military discount!
When we stayed at the Millennium Broadway New York this summer we were in one of their superior rooms that featured:
- Floor to ceiling windows
- A generous work space
- HDTV with cable channels
- High-speed Internet access
- Radio alarm clock
- In-room safe
- Climate control
- Iron and ironing board
- Coffee and tea makers
This hotel offers the Ask Alfred Children’s Concierge Program. You can add the Ask Alfred amenity to any room package for just $15 per child. Your little one will love the goodies in their Alfred cinch bag, including:
- Exclusive Ask Alfred cuddly Teddy Bear for keeps
- 12 Ask Alfred Color Me collectible postcards
- Alfred’s lovable stickables
- Surf Sweets® natural and organic Gummy Bears
- Melissa & Doug® coloring activity book and triangle crayons
They donate $2 from each amenity sold to The Dream Factory, which grants the dreams of critically and chronically ill children.
The hotel also had a restaurant and a bar. I didn’t have the chance to visit either, but here is what their website says about it:
Restaurant Charlotte is one of the most popular Midtown Manhattan restaurants, with attentive staff, warm décor and light fare. It provides the perfect spot for a buffet breakfast or a la carte dining.
Charlotte Bar and Lounge is ideal for unwinding after a hard day. Guests can opt for a light lunch from the menu, which includes soups, salads and sandwiches, or simply relax in the evening with a well-deserved cocktail.
