Chicago Illinois based Candyality

Candyality in Chicago.

Do you know your candy personality? Ever wonder what your candy choices say about you? Wonder no more as Candyality in Chicago can read your personality based on the sweets you fancy.

I visited Candyality’s Water Tower Place location and Candy Specialist Ashley asked me to fill my bag with the kind of candy I love. My options included giant gumdrops, dark chocolate nonpareils, Reese’s Pieces, M&Ms, saltwater taffy and Jelly Belly beans.

It didn’t take me long to zero in on my sugar addictions. My bag overflowed with chocolate nonpareils, Reese’s Pieces, Jelly Belly beans and milk chocolate pretzel twists. So what does this all say about me? Ashley reviews my choices and gives me my reading:

  • Jelly Belly ~ Creative
  • Crunchy Reese’s Pieces ~ Unpredictable and a great negotiator
  • Dark Chocolate Nonpareils ~ Classy, a little complex and graceful like Jackie O.
  • Milk Chocolate Pretzel Twists ~ Caring, compassionate

How accurate was my candy personality? I’d say it was pretty spot on! Then again, Ashley could have said just about anything and I would have loved it because I genuinely enjoy my sweets and this whole experience was fun.

I’m not the only one who loves to find great spots to enjoy sweets with my kids. Julie Cohn, also known as Good Living TravelingMom, went on an important mission with her family recently trying to find the best ice cream in California. Martina’s kids must know her pretty well, too, since they signed her up for a Chocolate Making Workshop in Antigua for her birthday this year. The Gringa TravelingMom could think of no better gift to experience with her boys.

If you happen to be visiting Chicago soon or want to bring your kids to a candy shop like no other, hit up one of Candyality’s three locations. The Water Tower Place flagship store also features the Life is Sweet Candy Museum with mannequins decorated in candy wrappers among other candy nostalgia and chronicles Chicago’s history as America’s candy manufacturing capitol.
