How to Enjoy Visiting the Same Destination 3 Times

DestinationReview

Don’t get me wrong, I love ALL things Hawaii. I just got back from my third trip to Oahu! This trip was different from my first two. For one thing, I was basically alone. I was a tag-along on my daughter’s high school band trip—not exactly a second honeymoon. Her band was invited to play a concert of patriotic songs at Pearl Harbor and tour the USS Arizona Memorial. Having already enjoyed nearly every site, sight and insight the island has to offer… I was in desperate need of something, anything. Because I was Ohana-ed to death.

So… what’s a photo-travel-blogger to do?
Especially one obsessed with capturing the essence of the island through a Nikon’s eye.

I chose a day trip from Viator that included swimming in Waimea Falls, photographing the little known Laie Point and snacking on a roadside delicacy called banana lumpia. All of this was on an Eco-Tour Day Trip around the Island of Oahu thanks to Viator.com.

You can read all the highlights of the Viator Eco-Tour on my previous post.

Disclosure: I traveled to Hawaii on my own dime and time. Viator kindly allowed me to sample one of their suggested tours at no cost to me. My opinions and hundreds of amazing photos are all my own.
