The LEGOLAND hotel at the LEGOLAND resort in Carlsbad, California is full of fun surprises and it’s super LEGO themed. If you have kids under 12 or super LEGO fans of any age, this is definitely the hotel for your family. Why? Read on, I have three awesome reasons why everyone will love the LEGOLAND hotel.

The #1 Reason for Kids: The Crazy Themed Rooms

We stayed in a pirate themed room and everything was themed with pirate LEGOs from the carpet and wallpaper to the LEGO models on the wall. My boys loved the separate kids area that included a pirate bunk bed complete with ship lights. The adult bed was also pirate themed with a Jolly Roger sail hanging above it. In fact you would be hard pressed to find something not pirate LEGO themed in the room. Currently the hotel also offer Adventure and Kingdom themed rooms. Starting March 10, 2016, you can also stay in a LEGO Friends themed room.

The #1 Reason for Adults: The Convenience of Staying Onsite

The LEGOLAND Hotel is literally steps away from LEGOLAND. Walk out the back entrance of the lobby and you’ll find yourself right in front of the LEGOLAND entrance. It makes it easy for a break in the afternoon or a quick change of clothes if your kids get soaked at Pirate Reef. My feet definitely appreciated the short walk to our hotel room after spending all day in the park.

Plus LEGOLAND Hotel guests get early entry into LEGOLAND before the general public. On the day we visited, there were a dozen rides open during the early entry hour. We loved walking on to several rides and enjoying the park without any lines or crowds. It’s definitely a perk worth staying onsite for in my book!

The #1 Reason for Everyone: The Disco Elevator

Everyone will love the Disco Elevator. Or at least love watching their kids dance in it!
