MLT Ext Lodge Winter Lg hrFamilies looking to take a ski vacation at one of the world’s top ski resorts can get a break on the budget with American Airlines’ 2012 Kids Fly Free Promotion.

With flights into Montrose, the major airport serving Telluride, the promotion makes a family ski vacation to Telluride a more budget-friendly one, according to Neil Hastings, director of Marketing and Sales for Mountain Lodge at Telluride. “There’s no better time to learn to ski and snowboard than as a kid,” says Neil Hastings, director of marketing and sales for Mountain Lodge at Telluride. “The American Kids Fly Free Promotion makes it easier to bring the whole family to a world-class resort like Telluride, and get the kids skiing on one of the best mountains in North America.”

The promotion allows children age 2-12 to fly free, with one child free for each adult-fare paying ticket. It is good for travel on American flights into and out of Montrose Jan. 4-March 1, 2012 (black-out dates Feb. 18-25). The Kids Fly Free Promotion applies to flights into Montrose Sunday through Thursday, and out of Montrose Monday through Friday. A minimum stay of two nights is required, along with ticketing at least 21 days prior to departure. Tickets must be purchased by Jan. 27.
