As a mom of two boys ages 3 and 4, I’m always looking for fun activities for them — especially those that can enrich their knowledge. I’m so lucky that I get to enjoy perfect San Diego’s weather every day, but during the month of February I’m more thankful because of free Museum Month Passes.
My city is the site of the nation’s largest urban cultural park, which includes the famous San Diego Zoo and 40 museums, and this month you can enjoy them almost for free. From February 1-29 the admission to the 40 participating museums is half-price!
Here’s what you have to do:
Go to any of Macy’s 14 locations in the San Diego area, Temecula, and Imperial Valley for a free Museum Month Pass (no purchase necessary). Hurry, because you can only get your pass while supplies last.
With your Museum Month Pass, up to four visitors can gain admission at a discounted rate.
If you visit San Diego, you can’t let this opportunity pass, or maybe is just an excuse to visit our city.
I took my kids to the Reuben Fleet Science Center, which has more than 100 interactive science exhibits in five galleries.
Kids can get their hands on a variety of intriguing scientific phenomena.
My oldest wants to be an astronaut, so his was intrigued by the Black Hole exhibition.
Most of the exhibits are suitable for all ages, but the little ones (5 and younger) will love Kids City. My children spend more than an hour there — and were very tired by the end of the day!
