If looking for things for the kids to do doing your San Antonio visit, look no further than the San Antonio Children’s Museum. Right in the middle of downtown, the museum isn’t huge but packs in plenty of fun.
My own kids kept going back to the ball zone right at the entry of the Children’s Museum. The 2-year-old as well as the 6-year-olds had endless fun putting the balls in the various “machines”. From there, we walked back to a kind of science room, where the big boys liked making and racing cars, while the toddler played back in the baby playland.
Besides the ball zone, the HEB supermarket in the basement was a big hit. The kids loved “shopping” for whatever they wanted. I only hoped they wouldn’t think they could do this in a real supermarket…
All in all, I recommend this as one of your stops during a visit with your family to downtown San Antonio.
