What makes a resort great for families? Tons of activities for kids that allow freedom for parents.

So far our boys always preferred to spend time with mama and papa than doing cool activities for kids only. I know that this is something to be proud of as a parent but once in a while I want to have an adult conversation or spend some alone time with my hubby.

I am sure that all parents will agree with me on this one.

But The Breakers in Palm Beach offers so many activities for kids that we decided to try them. After reading about them we chose Coconut Crew camp. This would allow my husband and I to enjoy a breakfast buffet in peace.

    Coconut Crew Activities and Fun

Of course on the day of camp my kids decide to sleep in. They always wake up really early, but today of all days I had to wake them up and give them a quick breakfast.

The camp takes place at the family entertainment center of the resort. The girls in charge of the camp only had to greet my boys to sweep them away.

After registering them I told the lady in charge to be prepared. I knew that my baby would be calling for me within minutes. But I didn’t see them until after lunch. They must have had a blast!

As we walked away we noticed that our boys were doing all sorts of tricks, and having fun at the playground.

When it was time for us to pick them up, the girls showed us all the cool things they did. Plus, the group was an international bunch with a little girl from France and two boys from Norway. The only ones who spoke English were my boys, but they were all somehow able to communicate with each other.

Breakfast for Adults – Elegance and Fine Dining

What does freedom look, sound and smell like for you? For my husband and I, this particular day, freedom looked at the most grandiose dining rooms we’ve ever been to.

And my nose was inhaling the delicious scents of a breakfast buffet.

    Information about Coconut Crew Camp

I listened to the chef explain what my omelet would be like. But the best part was having the chance to participate in a normal, back and forth conversation with my husband while trying out all the yummy food and drinking my morning tea.

There are tons of activities to do with your children or let them go at it alone. Check the schedule to see what is available when you are visiting.
