I have noticed a pattern in my research for the last couple of trips I have planned. I do a huge search online but end up going with the recommendations that I get from tourism board experts. It was exactly what happened as I planned my trip to Daytona Beach. I contacted the Daytona Beach Tourism office asking about fun places to eat breakfast and Gentry replied to me. Without hesitation she said Crabby Joe’s. And she was right!

How to Find Fun Places to Eat in Daytona Beach

Years ago I lived in Southern California and there was a restaurant that I loved, I can’t DisclosureTMOMremember the name now but I do remember that it was on a pier. I’ve searched for a place like that for a long time but never found one as authentic as that one.

That is of course, until we visited Crabby Joe’s!

It is a tiny restaurant on a pier that moves with the wind and surf. It is a bit scary at first but you soon realize that you’re not going to fall.

Our waiter was a surfer transplant who moved here to surf. He had a super laid back way about him. This made our

dining experience so much more fun. He was far from being a stuffy wanna be waiter in a hip place.

The food was delicious. My kids loved their french toasts.

I decided I would go for the breakfast house special – It comes with eggs benedict with crab and amazing home fries.

Plus, you can’t escape the gorgeous views from all directions.
