Parents' Date – Adventure on Duck Tour in Southern Florida

Diva-Duck-DateI’m sure that all of you parents out there will agree with me when I say that having kids can be super fun! Traveling with my boys has been one of the best experiences of my life. But it is also known by any mom or dad that it is important and refreshing being able to have a conversation where you can use words that have more than two syllables, or to simply hang out with your partner.

Another thing is, whenever my husband and I get some free time, I don’t just like to stay home doing nothing. I need constant stimulation. That is why I started looking for fun things to do in West Palm Beach and I found Diva Duck Amphibious Tour of West Palm Beach!

Talk about different.

OUR LATEST VIDEOS

We have made it a tradition to visit my parents in Florida once a year but we have never taken the time to explore everything the area has to offer. This time we finally did and started with this full tour of the city (downtown West Palm Beach) and Palm Beach waterways.

What You’ll See on the Diva Duck Amphibious Tour:

City Place – for the first part of the tour you go on board the Diva Duck vehicle for a land tour of the city. You ride along the main shopping and restaurant area of the city.

The Guide – on board you will have a Quacky tour guide that makes the tour fun, interesting and educative. She was also very creative with the duck puns.

Land to Sea – Now for the really fun part: you are taken into the water, without having to switch vehicles. This transition is a lot smoother than I thought.

Palm Beach – since this is known as one of the most expensive zip codes in the US it only made sense to be taken to see the beautiful waterfront mansions. This however was something I didn’t care about. For me the good part was looking at the boardwalk and learning about the history of the area.

My Take On It:

This whole West Palm Beach Tour took around 75 minutes. This was the perfect amount of time. We had the time to enjoy it, but it was not too long. This was a great way of spending time with my hubby, getting fresh air and learning something new.

My boys weren’t around but there were some families on board and kids seemed to be having fun. But I also noticed that this might not be the best option for kids under 5 years old.

Important things about the Diva Duck Tours:
