Myrtle Beach, AKA the Grand Strand, is 60+ miles of pristine, beautiful beach on which to play. And along that 60+ miles are some 900+, professionally managed vacation homes and condos, one of which has your name on it.Visit Myrtle Beach recently hosted myself and six other bloggers at this gorgeous, big blue beach house in Garden City, just a few minutes south of Myrtle Beach. I thought I had died and gone to heaven when we arrived. So much awesome all in one house!
There is nothing like drifting off to sleep to the sounds of the ocean waves lapping the shore and then waking up to an epic sunrise over an ocean of blue. Three of the bedrooms at this Gone Coastal beach home have French doors that open out onto a shared deck overlooking the ocean. I was very fortunate to have the middle room. Okay, I made a run for it once we arrived at the house. Can you blame me? Look at my view! And the decor fit my style perfectly. All the rooms in this seven-bedroom house have their own, unique, nautical-style with special touches throughout.
The house has two oceanfront decks, one upper and one lower, and two porches on the front, one upper, one lower. All are accessible through the large bedrooms, each with private bath.
There are miles of rental beach houses and condos of every size, style and color on the Grand Strand to choose from. So, forget booking a hotel. It really makes sense for families or groups that want to spend quality time together to make their home away from home… a beach home.
Prepare your meals in a real kitchen to save time and money for doing other things like Ripley’s Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach or kayaking on the Black River. And, at the end of the day, nothing beats blending up some tangy margaritas or sweet daiquiris for sipping on the deck during the sunset while the music of the ocean relaxes you.
Are we there yet?
