When you check into Rosen Shingle Creek, a resort on the outskirts of the theme parks of the Orlando area, you may not want to leave. There’s so much to do on this 230-acre site, it’s like a playground for adults. The stunning lobby, luxurious accommodations and welcoming staff create the backdrop for a relaxing or adventurous trip – your choice.
The location of the resort is on Universal Drive and set back from the road. Because of the cypress trees and other greenery, plus the golf course and the picturesque Shingle Creek and the lack of other nearby hotels, it is extremely serene. The resort is set up so that meeting rooms and ballrooms are on the opposite side of guest rooms. Even when conventions and meetings take place and guests are walking around, it is quiet.
If you choose to relax, sit by the quiet pool, visit the spa or indulge in one of the fine dining restaurants. Room service is available and the view from all of the rooms is breathtaking. Want to be active? Play tennis, sand volleyball, basketball, a round of golf, go fishing or walk the nature trail. Bring your family? Check out the video arcade, kiddie pool and movies by the pool on weekends in the summer. If you choose to visit a theme park, they are only minutes away.
For persons with disabilities, Rosen Creek Resort offers 75 ADA accessible rooms with rails around the toilet and in the tub, some with roll in showers. These rooms have doorbells to alert roommates to open the door. Besides ramps and elevators, there are braille signs on each floor and a zero entry pool. Scooters are located outside by the valet parking booth for rental s for quick availability. Some of the lobby doors are automatic.
Choose VIP status at Rosen Shingle Creek and really make the resort your playground. You’ll receive free valet parking, access to the fitness center, 25% off spa services and entry to the VIP Lounge where complimentary breakfast, appetizers and desserts are offered. You can also sit in the lounge while waiting for your room to ready if need be, get help with questions about the resort, or enjoy complimentary bottled water, soda, coffee, etc. In room WIFI is free to all guests.
Thank you to VisitOrlando.com for arranging my stay at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort for myself, my husband and my daughter.
