July 4th celebrations include:

  • The Bristol Civic, Military and Firemans’ Parade: The nation’s oldest Independence Day celebration.
  • Block Island: Parade from Legion Park to the statue of Rebecca and fireworks from town beach pavilion at dusk
  • Arnold Mills Parade: with a road race and band concert. At Diamond Hill State Park, Cumberland

Movies on the Beach, July 9th – Aug 20th. Bring a chair and blanket and watch a free family-friendly movie beginning at 8:30pm. Misquamicut Beach.
