Since spring has arrived, our family has been getting out into the great outdoors and biking on around our neighborhood and at the Avonale Preserve near Watch Hill.
This recent flurry of activity made me wonder about bike paths around Rhode Island. I have noted some below but found a wealth of information at the Rhode Island DOT website. The website has a list of state bike maps and paths for commuting and recreation.
There is also a report on the 10 ‘Pitstops’ Along RI’s 100-Mile Network of Bike Paths and Nature Trails that can be extremely useful.
A few well known bike paths are noted below so check your tire pressure and get cycling:
Blackstone River Bikeway
East Bay Bike Path
William C. O’Neill Bike Path
Woonasquatucket River Greenway
