The LPGA offers several junior golf clinics with the pros plus free tickets for kids and loads of other extras. Parents are always looking for something original and if possible, economical, to add to their family vacation plans and this is a FIND. The LPGA welcomes families – include a trip to one of the following golf tournaments with your fall vacation plans.
Kids (usually 15 and under; sometimes 17 and under) receive free admission to LPGA tournaments when accompanied by an adult ticket-holder. Also, many tournaments offer family packages. These tickets include food and beverages, as well as other discounts.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities LPGA Tour Junior Golf Clinic program provides junior golfers with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game through junior golf clinics in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Each clinic follows a “hands-on,” two-hour format and has an average of 100 children in attendance. The clinics feature instruction and exhibitions by both LPGA Tour Players and LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals. Participation in the clinics is free.
Each tournament is responsible for signing up juniors in the community. Some tournaments actually post the form on their individual websites to pre-register children. Other tournaments have children sign up at the tournament site, depending on the type of tournament.
