kidsHave you heard of the live-action, role playing game MagiQuest? Great Wolf Lodge locations across the country recently introduced the interactive adventure as an addition to their resorts. Last month I attended the media launch for Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls, Ontario, where they introduced us to the game and gave us the opportunity to test it out first-hand.

This interactive game is set in a mythical world where players go on a quest in an enchanted world using magic wands to then uncover the mysteries of the game. You can purchase wands and toppers in the gift shop where they then program them for each individual player. The wands interact with various props in the game and then allow you to make your way through Magi Training.

We did find the game to be more suited to children over the age of 6 and loved how it was interesting enough to grab the attention and interest of teens and adults alike. If you don’t have a chance to finish the entire game during your stay – no worries. The wands record each of the player’s achievements and can be used again on future visits. If you do finish and want a re-run during your next visit, bring the same wand and you can have it reprogrammed.

Great Wolf Lodge is a wonderful vacation choice for families, which you will see in our next upcoming video. Stay tuned! 🙂
