Unique Passover Pop-up at Chelsea Market.
New York has many unique attractions – an elevated park, multiple Chinatowns, the Statue of Liberty – and now it has one of the more unusual, and ephemeral – a Passover Pop-up.
Although Manischewitz is best known for its Kosher food, it also has gluten-free products and, new this year, non-GMO matzo.
You can taste matzo pizza, vegetarian soup and freshly made s’mores, or dip macaroons (not to be confused with macarons) in the chocolate fountain.
Jamie Geller, “Queen of Kosher,” celebrity chef and author of Joy of Kosher, a magazine and the book, will host live cooking demonstrations, along with Celebrity Chef Katsuji Tanabe, winner of Food Network’s “Chopped,” current contestant Bravo’s “Top Chef Boston” and owner of MexiKosher in LA
The Manischewitz Experience is open March 12th and 15, 11 am – 7 pm and March 13th 10 am – 6 pm
