Have you taken your kids to an indoor waterpark yet? If you haven’t tried one I highly recommend going. Our whole family always enjoys going, including the grandparents.
On our trip most recent trip through upstate New York we were lucky enough to get to stay at Greek Peak Mountain Resort in Cortland, NY featuring Cascade Indoor Waterpark. We stayed two nights at the hotel and all hotel guests get complimentary passes to the waterpark. Day passes are also available on certain days.
The water is kept at 84 degrees year round. They have a wave pool, two body slides, two tube slides, an interactive play structure, and a kiddie pool with swings and a slide. They also have my favorite, an indoor/outdoor hot tub. Along with a regular pool inside and another outside. The outside pool is also kept at 84 degrees and can be entered from inside the waterpark.
Our kids had so much fun. They played in the wave pool for hours. I was glad there were no restrictions on who could use the wave pool. If your kid is under 42 inches they are required to where a life jacket. My five year old wore a life jacket and the waves were fine for him. I also liked how compact everything is. I was able to easily keep an eye on all three kids at once.
