yard_sale_copyTell the truth.

Have you heard of the World’s Longest Yard Sale?!

Don’t worry, me either!

I’ve only lived on the East Coast or the West Coast and it turns out the Longest Yard Sale in the World is smack dab in the middle of the country.

Running from Addison, Michigan to Gadsen, Alabama.

The first weekend in August (26 years running!) Route 127 is taken over by yard sale aficionados stretching for 690 miles over 5 states! It lasts for 3 days and gets bigger and bigger each year. Check out the official website: 127sale.com.

If bargain shopping isn’t the only thing you love, several points along the route have created festivals surrounding the event or fabulous outdoor adventures near the sale route, check out various attractions:

1.       Jamestown Jamboree: Jamestown, Tennessee August 3rd

2.       Drake County, Ohio Attractions

3.       Gadsen Area Atractions

You still have time!

What a great road trip idea.
Sharpen up your wheeling and dealing skills and start making plans to join the fun!

And if you go, LOOK for me!
I’ll be driving the WHOLE route from north to south in a brand new Denali, tagging along with the GMC Hidden Treasure Adventure crew. You can read more about this upcoming charitable adventure on my blog: GoodNCrazy.com.

See you there!

NOTE: This is not a sponsored post, please read more on my site about the adventure!
