On vacation or not, it is always nice to have place to feel safe, secure, and be able to relax — especially when you travel with family.

Point Randall Resort in the Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, is a family friendly resort that not only provides lodging, but provided us those extras that we desire.

As my gal pal and I arrived at Point Randall Resort in Lake of the Ozarks, my first thought was, am I back home? Point Randall is not located in middle of everything, you have take the back road to this cozy little escape. Yet you will only be a few minutes from all the attractions in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. DestinationReview

The first thing our kids noticed after we unloaded our car was the beautiful overlook of the lake. The first thing us moms noticed was that the deck with that beautiful overlook was completely closed in, making it harder for any of the kids to escape and get too close to the water. We were staying right on the lake, and this made us feel a little better about it.

After “touring” the deck, our two older kids decided it was time to pick out the bedrooms, this is always exciting for little girls.  Our cabin at Point Randall Resort had 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths, giving us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves.  Our girls were over delighted that they had a room to share, this made vacation extra special.  With three kids all under the age of 11, that extra 1/2 bath was huge blessing, especially in the mornings!

Our families loved that we could dine in our cabin, and as mom that lives on a short budget, I loved that we could grab a frozen pizza at the grocery store and call it dinner.  The kids loved that my gal pal and I forgot about our worry for too much sugar and grabbed donuts and chocolate milk for breakfast, saving us money and time.

During our visit to Lake of the Ozarks it was rather cold, so we did not have the chance to fully enjoy the outdoor amenities offered a Point Randall Resort.  The resort is more than just a place to stay, they are a family friendly family owned resort, that gives vacation that extra happy feeling.
