The ziplining trips in the Puerto Rican rainforest looked so fun, but not for a 6- and 8-year-old. An all-day outing with 350-foot-high lines? That’s why I was so thrilled to find the kid-friendly ziplining course offered by Rain Forest Zipline Corp. on the outskirts of El Yunque rain forest.

We still got that fast, whizzing-over-the-trees excitement, but without those are-we-doing-to-die fears, and it was only a half-day trip.
As added comfort, there were super-nice, strong, and first-aid-certified staff members waiting for us at the start and end of each course. That brought my comfort level WAY up.
We found this ziplining to be plenty of adventure, and even a little scary, but an excellent choice for first-timers like myself. As my kids will tell you in the video below, it was “SOOOO AWESOME!!
